Warlord Games Bolt Action German Sd.Kfz 251/9 Ausf D Stummel Halftrack
The standard personnel carrier (Hanomag) Sd.Kfz 251 halftrack, normally equipped with a 7.92 mm MG 34 or MG 42 machine gun, was up-gunned with the addition of the Stummel ("Stump" because the barrel is so short) 75 mm L/24 low velocity gun. This is the same gun and mount employed on the early StuG III and Panzer IV tanks.
Also equipped with two MGs for air support, the Stummel halftrack was issued to the heavy gun companies of Panzergrenadier regiments to provide mobile fire support for when fully armoured support guns such as the StuG were not available.
Plastic kit contains 1 vehicle with decals included. 1/56th Scale.
